Photos from our benefit concert for the Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestra with Klauspeter Seibel conducting!
On Feb. 15, 2009, Musaica performed a concert conducted by Klauspeter Seibel as a benefit for the Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestra. We performed the Bach/Webern Ricercare as well as arrangements by Maestro Seibel of Schubert's German Dances and Mahler's Fünf Lieder aus den Judendzeit which were sung by Anne Marie Frohnmayer. We also played with the GNOYO Symphony in a side-by-side performance of the first movement of Beethoven First Symphony and Johann Strauss's Fledermaus Overture. Following are a few pictures from this event. Musaica would like to thank Klauspeter Seibel and all of our LPO colleagues for donating their time and talent to make this concert possible.
